Tanveer Ahmed:
London:I attended the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2025 in Amsterdam on September 14 and 15, representing The Other Side. The event is one of the biggest in the world for broadcasting and media, bringing together experts and companies to show the future of the industry.

The halls were filled with the latest technology, including cameras, sound systems, editing tools, and cloud-based platforms. Artificial intelligence, automation, and streaming services were at the center of many displays.
Experts also held talks on 5G, sustainability, and new ways of delivering media. There was focus on virtual reality and immersive content, showing how broadcasting today goes far beyond traditional television.
In Pakistan, the industry still faces challenges. Many TV channels rely on old systems, and streaming services are limited. Professionals also lack training opportunities to match international standards. IBC 2025 was a reminder that Pakistan needs to invest in technology and skills to stay in step with global trends.
