Cambridge Tech Week 2025 Inspires Innovation and Collaboration

London: From September 15 to 19, I attended Cambridge Tech Week 2025 at the Corn Exchange, representing Every Sunday Online Newspapre and Magazine. Unlike PLASA, which focused on entertainment technology, this event was about the future of technology in all areas.
The program included sessions on artificial intelligence, green energy, cybersecurity, robotics, health technology, and smart transport. Startups showed creative new solutions, while bigger companies shared their ideas for the future. The event was full of energy and new thinking.
What impressed me the most was the teamwork. Universities, businesses, and investors all worked together. Research in Cambridge is not left in labs — it quickly moves into the market and becomes real products or services. This kind of connection helps new ideas grow faster and stronger.
In Pakistan, we have many young people with talent and ideas, but they do not always find support. Startups often face problems with funding, guidance, and mentorship. Many of them close down early. In Cambridge, the system gives startups funds, advice, and connections, which makes a big difference.
Another lesson was the focus on solving real-world problems. Speakers talked about using technology to fight climate change, improve health, and keep people safe online. It was about making a positive impact, not just making money.
For Pakistan, this is important. We need to build local events and programs like Cambridge Tech Week. Our universities and businesses should work together, and investors should support young talent. If we provide the right environment, Pakistan can also become a hub of innovation.
Attending Cambridge Tech Week 2025 showed me what is possible when ideas are supported. It gave me hope that with planning and teamwork, Pakistan can also grow in technology and innovation.
