Lahore: ITCN Asia 2026, Pakistan’s premier technology exhibition, opened at the Expo Centre Lahore on Tuesday, bringing together global tech companies, policymakers, startups, and digital innovators to showcase emerging technologies and strengthen the country’s digital ecosystem.

The three-day event features participation from local and international firms across sectors including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, cloud computing, e-commerce, gaming, and digital governance. Delegations from several countries are attending, underlining Pakistan’s growing relevance in the regional technology landscape.

This year’s exhibition places strong emphasis on artificial intelligence and smart technologies, with exhibitors presenting solutions for automated business systems, data analytics, AI-powered healthcare, digital education platforms, and intelligent public services.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, government representatives highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to digital transformation, stressing the need for innovation-driven growth, skill development, and stronger public-private partnerships.

Multiple panel discussions and leadership forums are being held alongside the exhibition, focusing on data protection, digital regulation, national cybersecurity strategy, startup financing, and the role of emerging technologies in economic development.

A key attraction of ITCN Asia 2026 is the startup and innovation zone, where young entrepreneurs are pitching their ideas to investors, accelerators, and venture capital firms. The platform is providing opportunities for funding, mentorship, and international exposure.

The exhibition also includes technology competitions, product launches, hands-on workshops, and training sessions aimed at students and early-career professionals seeking to enter the digital workforce.

Cybersecurity experts at the event warned that as Pakistan’s digital footprint expands, the country must invest in stronger cyber resilience and local data infrastructure to protect critical systems and user privacy.

Industry leaders noted that ITCN Asia has evolved into one of the most influential tech platforms in South Asia, serving as a bridge between Pakistan’s growing tech talent and global digital markets.

With thousands of visitors expected over three days, ITCN Asia 2026 at Expo Centre Lahore is being seen as a major milestone in Pakistan’s journey towards a competitive and innovation-led digital economy.
