PMD Predicts Overnight Showers in Islamabad and Northern Areas

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts changing weather conditions across the country today, with a mix of rain, clouds and clear skies depending on the region.

Islamabad & Northern Areas:
Cloudy skies will continue through the evening, with rain likely later tonight — especially after midnight when showers become more widespread. Temperatures in the capital will remain cool, with light rain expected overnight.

Central & Southern Plains:
Parts of central Pakistan and southern districts can expect mainly dry and stable weather, with partly clear skies prevailing through the day. Warm sunshine is expected in many cities.

Bahawalpur & Southern Punjab:
Today’s forecast shows mostly clear skies with mild winds, making it a pleasant day for outdoor activities in the region.

Upper Pakistan Forecast:
A shallow western disturbance currently influencing the region could bring isolated rain or snow in hilly and upper areas later in the day or overnight — so residents in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and northern KP should stay alert for possible showers.
