Flight operations at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore were severely disrupted after 26 domestic and international flights were cancelled, leaving passengers stranded and causing major inconvenience for travellers.

According to aviation sources, several inbound and outbound flights were called off due to operational disruptions, affecting passengers travelling to and from Gulf destinations. The cancellations led to long waiting times and uncertainty for many travellers at the airport.

Among the affected flights was AirSial flight PF-796 from Lahore to Abu Dhabi and the return flight PF-797 from Abu Dhabi to Lahore.

Similarly, Airblue flight PA-410 from Lahore to Dubai was also cancelled.

Flights operated by Qatar Airways were also affected, including QR-620 from Doha to Lahore and QR-621 from Lahore to Doha.

In addition, Etihad Airways flight EY-285 from Lahore to Abu Dhabi and Emirates flight EK-625 from Lahore to Dubai were cancelled.

Aviation officials further confirmed that Kuwait Airways flight KU-202 from Lahore to Kuwait City and Airblue flight PA-412 from Lahore to Sharjah were also among the cancelled services.

The sudden cancellations left many passengers waiting at the airport for updates regarding their travel plans. Airline staff were seen assisting travellers and providing information about rescheduled flights or alternative arrangements.

Officials said passengers affected by the disruption would be accommodated on other available flights wherever possible. However, the large number of cancellations caused significant inconvenience for travellers planning to depart from Lahore for international destinations.
