Second Phase of Hajj Operations Underway as Pilgrims Head to Jeddah

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has commenced the second phase of Hajj flights, marking the departure of Pakistani pilgrims to Jeddah from multiple airports nationwide. Upon arrival, the pilgrims will be transported directly to Makkah to begin their spiritual journey. On the opening day of this phase, two flights carrying 633 pilgrims are set to depart for Saudi Arabia.

The second phase follows the successful completion of the first phase of Hajj departures. On the final day of phase one, 13 flights carried 2,399 pilgrims to Madinah. In total, 145 flights were operated during the first phase, transporting 31,044 Pakistani pilgrims to the holy city of Madinah.
