Islamabad: Lahore: The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Mauritius, Syed Zahid Raza, held significant discussions with Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth and Foreign Minister Maneesh Gobin to strengthen bilateral relations. During the meeting with Prime Minister Jugnauth, they explored opportunities for collaboration in trade, tourism, culture, and other areas of mutual interest. The High Commissioner proposed easing visa requirements for businessmen to boost trade relations and revisiting pending MoUs, including reviving the preferential trade agreement (PTA).

In his meeting with Foreign Minister Gobin, discussions focused on speeding up the finalization of pending agreements, political consultations, and enhancing cooperation at the parliamentary and international levels. Both sides expressed commitment to deepening ties and promoting mutual support on global platforms.
