Lahore: Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja showcased Pakistan’s burgeoning IT industry at the 24th edition of the ITCN Asia conference in Lahore. Over 600 IT firms, 55,000 participants, and 100 international delegates participated.
Khawaja emphasized the event’s aim to boost private sector visibility internationally. With 68% of Pakistan’s population being youth, she highlighted IT as a promising field. The government plans extensive skill training for youth in IT and vows to offer affordable loans for freelancers.
Additionally, the Industry Academia Bridge Program facilitates practical training and job security for IT students.
